Science

Science is a mandatory subject from Years 7 to 10. It involves both theory and practical lessons in a range of scientific topics under the science branches of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth Sciences. Junior Science gives students a taste for the specialised subjects in the Senior years.

Senior Sciences include: Biology, Earth & Environmental Science, Chemistry, Investigating Science, Physics, Marine Studies and Extension Science.

Ms Wood and Mrs Haling currently teach Science at CHS.

Science Topics for Juniors

CHS is a compressed curriculum school which means that the academic year begins in Week 6 Term 4 (except Year 7). Each Junior year studies 2 topics per term.

Year 7
